Cantina has been in business for over 15 years, and like any other business, has to evolve its practices and offerings to stay relevant in the market. For many years, I’ve worked as a consultant at Cantina, leading complex UX, service, and organizational client projects. Recently I focused those skills on Cantina itself, establishing a clear strategic plan, leading branding, messaging, and positioning initiatives, redesigning the client experience using service design, and guiding and championing a retooling of our consultants’ capabilities and our offerings to the market.

Spearheaded a strategic pivot to position the agency as a leading innovation consultancy based on a clear understanding of buyer needs, shifting competitive landscape, and our unique value proposition.

Executed a strategic plan to align leadership around agency purpose, key goals, and activities. Lead monthly company meetings to report on progress and drive employee buy-in and engagement.

Packaged service offerings to align with positioning strategy, market demand, and buyer expectations.

Mapped and improved key moments in the client journey, from initial engagement to services delivery. Redesigned key touchpoints, including pitch deck and sales narrative, project kick-off experience, and project status communications.

Updated sales narrative and created key messages and other marketing writing.

Creative direction for brand expression and visual identity system

Established quarterly internal Cantina Conference with such impressive external speaks as Tom Hardy to increase employee engagement and to drive forward capabilities training.
